Following the 2024 release of a double CD featuring the complete Nocturnes by Chopin, Piano Classics has recently issued a new double CD by Vincenzo Maltempo, this time entirely dedicated to Brahms, offering a comprehensive overview of the composer’s piano music: the four Ballades op. 10, the Variations on an original Theme op. 21, no. 1, the eight Klavierstücke op. 76, and the late works (opp. 116, 117, 118, and 119).
